1. Heat Olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef, onion, carrot, garlic, and pepper to pan; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until meat is browned and vegetables are tender, stirring to crumble beef.
2. Stir together tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and mustard in a bowl. add to pan, stirring to coat meat, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cook 8 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
3. Spoon about 3/4 cup meat mixture onto bottom half of each bun, Cover with top halves of buns.
Note: This recipe can easily be doubled or triple for your Super Bowl Party. Keep Sloppy Joe mixture warm in a small slow cooker and allow guests to serve themselves.
